Abe and I create a new weekend tradition.
A few weeks ago we FINALLY got a break in this gloomy London winter weather. The skies opened up and the sun came out in the morning.
Abe and I were sitting on the couch watching paw patrol or Thomas and I looked at him and said, “Hey man, lets walk to the bakery and get some breakfast treats.” Breakfast treats can range from blueberry muffins, croissants with chocolate or cinnamon rolls. He leaped off the couch and said “Get my coat!”
Off we went!
He loved actually walking around the streets of Marylebone and being out of his stroller. The bakery, Gail’s, is only 200 ft away but we go up an ally and walk on the cobblestone sidewalk the rest of the way.
As soon as you walk in you see the abundance of pastries, scones, sandwiched, bread, cookies. Anything you can imagine a proper bakery having displayed. They also make these mini hard-boiled egg, avocado and tomato sandwiches and these smoked salmon, avocado sandwiches on everything seed rolls.
Anyways, Abe likes walking and carrying the bag full of whatever we decide to buy that day. Creating traditions and memories like this is what makes the world go round.
I challenge you to create something small that can mean so much!
